In what way is the curtain and heating (curtain with heater) operation controlled?The air curtain is supplied with wireless remote control. The equipment is started with the on/off button on the remote control and the fan speed can be selected, using the speed button. The air curtain with heater is started by pressing the on/off button; the normal/warm button is for the heater to be switched on or off. The fan and the heat exchanger operation are signalled with light control lamps.

How is the air curtain operation controlled? What is needed for the control to be connected to the air curtain?The ECONOMIC-B Basic is controlled using the SM control panel. The control panel regulates the air-handling performance in 3 degrees. The design with the electrical heater has incorporated signalisation of the heater operation. To connect the control to the air curtain, a connecting cable is required and the diagram for the connection is displayed on the air curtain or it can be found in the manual.

Disconnect the air curtain from the main power supply and allow it to cool down. Ascertain the cause of overheating possible causes of overheating could be:- covering of the intake or exhaust of the curtain- to high a temperature of intake air- blocking up of the electrical bars by dust etc.Press the Reset button (see illustration). After connection to the electricity supply, the heating function of the air curtain should start again.

What is the logic of DA control?The DA control has a manual as well as an automatic mode. When in the automatic mode, the air curtain operation is controlled via incorporated regulation elements. The DA electronics allows connecting the sensor for the outside temperature, the thermostat and the door contact at the same time. Individual situations and the operation of the air curtain under different conditions are described HEREIs it possible to operate more air curtains via a single control?Yes, the DM and DA control allows for the so called chain connection of the curtains up to 6 units. The control has to be connected via a data cable into the CONTROL connector and the remaining curtains must interconnect with the mentioned data cable as shown on the picture or in the manual.

The CLEAN signalisation for the control is active. What does it mean and how do I proceed in such a case?
Properties of the indication CLEAN – cleaning of the air curtain – can be set in the service regime of the control as required. Activation of the function for setting the service interval is carried out by pressing the fan button for 5 seconds. After this, the diode will start to flash and up to three diodes positioned above the fan button will illuminate. The time periods for the CLEAN indication can be set according to the degree of air pollution in which the air curtain was installed. Resetting of the curtain cleaning signalisation is by simultaneous pressing of both the control buttons (On/Off + ventilator). For detailed information click HERE

What is the logic of the automatic regime for comfort control?
Depending on the set up of the requested temperature, the outdoor temperature and the suction temperature, both the output temperature as well as the degree of the fan speed is automatically regulated so that energy saving can be guaranteed in so much as that the operational costs are reduced by up to 20%. The measured room temperature is displayed on the upper line of the control display unit. The regulation maintains constant room temperature. The PID regulation system for electrical system as well as the water heater with a three way fan is incorporated I order to achieve maximum comfort. In the event that the outdoor temperature sensor is not connected, the automatic curtain regime will not work. In such a case the error message that the external sensor is not connected will be displayed when you will try to enter the regime.

At what temperature is the anti freeze protection of the air curtain set?The anti freeze protection is activated if the fan output air temperature drops to +5 °C. In this case, the fans are switched off and the circulation is secured via the heater exchanger.Anti freeze protection is supplied in the VCP-03-xxx-TP a VCP-03-xxx-HP modulesHow do I control the air curtain and what accessories can be used?The INDESSE Industry curtains are offered with two types of regulator.RO – 5 degree regulator is designed for regulation of the fan speed. There is no need for any additional accessories to achieve the correct functioning of the equipment.RB – control unit can operate the fan revolutions via the regulated voltage in three degrees. There is a two degree contact for connection of the contactor of the electrical heater or a contact for the control of the zone ventilator at the output of the control unit. The fan and the heater can be switched on or off with an external switch, thermostat or door contact.In the event that the equipment is fitted with an electrical heater, the operational unit ensures the cooling of the heater every time the fan is turned off.
RO RBThe air curtain did not start operating when switched on; regulation is carried out via the RB regulator.A possible reason is the setting of the “jumper” on the electronic board which indicates if the control unit will be used for the operation of water or the electrical exchanger. The operation unit switches on the contactors at the electrical option or the zone fan at the water design with an output voltage of 230V 50/60 Hz.
